Find the right fit

Weigh your dog and check the chart below. Then measure chest girth just behind the front legs to confirm.

S 5.5–11 lb (2.5–5 kg) 13–17 in (33–43 cm)
M 11–22 lb (5–10 kg) 17–21 in (43–53 cm)
L 22–38 lb (10–17.5 kg) 21–26 in (53–66 cm)
XL 38–60 lb (17.5–27.5 kg) 26–30 in (66–76 cm)
2XL 60–88 lb (27.5–40 kg) 30–35 in (76–89 cm)

Between two sizes?

Always go bigger. A slightly loose jacket is safer than one that restricts the chest — your dog needs full range of motion to swim naturally.

Deep-chested or hard-to-fit breeds

Bulldogs, Pugs and other broad-chested breeds should size by chest girth rather than weight. The adjustable straps take up the slack elsewhere.
